In a big effort to stop the illegal drug trade, authorities have taken strong action against drug trafficking. authorities have apprehended six Pakistani nationals in Gujarat during a collaborative operation involving the Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS), Indian Coast Guard, and the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). The operation yielded a substantial haul of drugs valued at Rs 480 crore.
Arrested individuals are currently detained in Porbandar, as investigations continue into their alleged involvement in the illicit drug trade. Officials underscored the broader efforts against drug trafficking, revealing that the Gujarat ATS, Indian Coast Guard, and NCB have collectively seized drugs worth a staggering Rs 3,135 crore as part of their ongoing campaign.
